Creative Blinds and Shades are a manufacturer and distributor of the premium Slidetrack® Blinds. These are a clean, stylish solution for patio enclosures or for shading windows. They are extremely durable, can span wide widths, and are suitable for high wind localities.
The fabric is held in tracks on both sides, thus provided a side seal. These tracks also prevent excessive fabric movement and noisy flapping. With the spring operated blind, the fabric is also tensioned upwards helping again to keep the fabric taught, and making them perfect for high wind load environments. The tracks on the sides also hide the edge spline and prevent UV damage.
The blinds are spring loaded & therefore can be operated one-handed. Alternatively, we can manufacture them with a winding handle, or with motorised controls. Slidetrack ® Blinds have no ropes, zippers, pulleys or straps. The mesh or clear PVC fabric is held in tracks on both sides, and a sealing strip or valance at the bottom helps keep the weather, leaves & insects out.
The Slidetrack Blind has an extra strong bottom bar that is soundly located within each of the side tracks. This results in a very strong design without wear marks. Exposed parts are all made from stainless steel and aluminium so no rusting occurs. Our double thickness top roller provides unsurpassed strength for wide width blinds!
The locking system is stainless steel (NOT plastic!), and is operated from the center of the blind. Double sided locks are available for access from either inside or outside of the blind. Intermediate locking positions are easily installed, so the blind can be set at an ideal shading or view height.
TIP: We can provide special tracks for angled blinds – these are a specialty at Creative Blinds and Shades! If your posts are angled to each other, this is easily overcome with our special angle tracks.
