Venetian Blinds
Venetian Blinds are a very popular sun control product. With venetians, you have the ability to tilt the blades to select the desired amount of light to enter the room, or alternatively have the blinds in the completely up or down positions. Venetians are available made with a variety of materials.
The Aluminium slimlines are a perennial favourite with a sleek, elegant appearance. The blades / slats are 25mm in width and a few colours only are available in a 50mm width. Some features of this product are the ability of light control, extremely fade resistant colours, privacy, and they are inexpensive.
Timber venetian blinds are available in true timber colours and appearance, and also white or other coated colour ranges. The white timber venetians are very popular giving a great ’Çalifornian Beach’ modern look, and the same product in a timber slat will enhance any classic style window. They are an exceptionally versatile blind, and are available in 50mm or 63mm wide blade widths. New colours now include modern greys!
Venetian blinds can also be manufactured with PVC, or even an engineered composite of PVC and Wood. These ranges are suitable for wet areas like bathrooms, ensuites and laundry’s etc.
TIP: Please remember that true timber venetians are not recommended for bathroom or wet areas, due to swelling or warping of the timber. In these areas we recommend the use of the same width PVC or composite PVC/Timber venetians.
TIP: Venetian Blinds are a great cost effective alternative to the modern shutters. The appearance is similar at a fraction of the cost!
